John has been a member of the Chicago community for 30-plus years, and a northwest suburbanite for 20. He has a background in mathematical sciences, and an interest in economic and science policy, and consequently great appreciation of what Fermilab brings to both Chicago and the world. Professionally, he serve as an independent consultant, and as Senior Director for Vectorform, which provides design, innovation, and strategy services for global organizations. Previously, John worked for a number of consultancies addressing business strategy and public policy, and has been a member of the faculty at the University of Chicago and Purdue. His earlier training is as an economist and data scientist at Carnegie-Mellon.
