Crystal has lived in the southwest suburbs since 2004 and her passion for science drew her into learning about activities at Fermilab. As she actively works to support STEM enrichment programs for local students, serving on the community advisory board allows her to share diverse learning opportunities with youth within the community. When she is not mentoring students, Crystal conducts research as the lead hair scientist for her company, Mane Insights, Inc. which aims to further understand the specific needs of the hair and scalp of people from African descent.
