Britta W. McKenna is the CEO of Four Hawks, LLC innovation consulting in Batavia, IL. McKenna was previously the Chief Innovation Officer at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy where she was the founder of the Steve and Jamie Chen Center for Innovation & Inquiry (IN2), winner of the 2017 Chicago Innovation Award. Britta has been active in Batavia and the Fox Valley community for over 30 years and was named Batavia’s Citizen of the Year with husband, Steven in 2013. Britta received her BA from the University of Minnesota and her MPA in leadership from NIU. She lives in Batavia with her husband, Steven; they have two grown sons, Kyle (Karen) and Owen (Natalie) and is “Mimi” to three grandchildren.
